Dogs in Boarding
At Happy Hound Dog Resorts, we feature an airy 24 square foot kennel suite. This is standard for every client. If you have a family of dogs, we keep them together. We never separate a family in any of the beautiful suites for dogs. With doors on the side of each kennel that slide back and forth, we can support up to 6 dogs in 72 square feet. With a choice of either soft bed on the floor or a raised bed for smaller dogs, Happy Hound Dog Resorts has an option for every canine.

If you have been to other places with “runs” that run outside for the dog to “do their business”, what fun is it when you have to do this alone? At Happy Hound Dog Resorts, we believe in socialization of dogs, and that every dog has a “pack” that it can exist within at our facility. All of our dogs are able to walk together with our handlers outside to our controlled and fenced area to sniff and relieve themselves. Dog behaviorists say that one dog sniffing another’s “behind” is just like human beings shaking hands. So socialization goes on even when they are doing their “business” in our outside area. Dogs acting like….Dogs
As a benefit to the cause of socialization we offer every boarding dog Dog Daycare. It is a free opportunity to participate socialize at no additional charge. Socialization with other dogs does not take place in a “cage or crate”. We place every dog onto the Dog Daycare floor for work on basic commands, of “Sit, Stay, Come, Off” and other basic commands. Dogs can exists peacefully with one another and at Happy Hound Dog Resorts. We give every dog the opportunity to return to their owners knowing a few more commands. A nice break from family life with the cat or other stressful animals. Dog Daycare is a $25 value provided free to all who are part of the Dog Boarding experience.
