The Best Dog Boarding Jacksonville FL has ever seen is at Happy Hound Dog Resorts. The Shirley Ave facility features 38 luxury kennels of and 6 VIP kennels of approximately. The newest location at Beach Blvd features 42 luxury kennels and 2 VIP kennels. The luxury kennels are either 24 -25 sq ft in size and comfortably fit a dog bed, blankets, treats, toys and food. The VIP kennels are 80 sq ft or more in size. It is important to keep the family of dogs together in a comfortable environment when boarding. If you have more than 2 dogs in your family, we may upgrade them into a VIP room, at no additional cost. We never break up families of pets
Each kennel suite includes an off the floor bed with water and food bowls, which we provide. You are welcome to substitute a family bed or include edible items to make your dog’s stay more enjoyable. All dogs in dog boarding may participate in daycare ($4 extra per day) and have a mid-day rest period. We can administer medication or feed special dog foods that you may provide. All 24-hour boarding starts at 6 pm and expires at 12 noon the day of checkout. For boarding dogs remaining after 12 noon, a Stay & Play daycare charge of $23 will be charged to cover the 12 PM to close daycare stay.

Dog Boarding packages are no longer available as of July 1, 2023. Any purchased in 2023 will be honored, but no new ones are going to be sold. All packages expire within 6 months and none will be allowed in 2024.
Vaccinations are very important at Happy Hound Dog Resorts. We mandate that the vaccinations must be current. If they are not, your fur kid may not be allowed to play on the Dog Daycare floor with other dogs. The safety of all dogs in our care comes first.

All Boardings will have a deposit made of the 1st night for the number of dogs in our care. We do have a Boarding Cancellation fee of the 1st night boarding for all reservations not cancelled within 72-hours of the reservation start date.
